Meet the person behind the passion

Natasha Dawson

Guide/Business Owner/Adventurer

I have explored this wonderful, diverse Limestone Coast region in South Australia for the past two decades as an environmental educator and bushwalker.

I believe the best way to experience and connect with a landscape is to walk it, tread lightly, explore culture and history, people and place, support communities and share with others.

Providing local knowledge, responsible travel, supporting community, conservation and connection.

Treading lightly

Walk the Limestone Coast (WTLC) is committed to treading lightly, supporting the regeneration of the region and local communities.

We do this by giving back, promoting local businesses, minimising waste and ecological offsetting.

When you join a multi-day tour we will offset your ecological footprint for the week by supporting Port MacDonnell Landcare Group to re-establish habitat.

Barefoot and Nourished

Barefoot and Nourished - Nature Walks for Wellbeing is the community arm of Walk the Limestone Coast. I provide adventures for women within the Limestone Coast S.A. and Western Victoria to reap the benefits of walking with others in nature.

If you live in the Limestone Coast SA or Western Victoria and would like to join my email list to hear about upcoming adventures send me a text with your email details or give me a call 0408 086 792.

Walk this way

When Natasha Dawson is out walking along trails near her home on the Limestone Coast, her contentment is palpable and it isn’t any wonder she describes this landscape as her first love. Now, she wants to show off these trails to others.                    Story and photo: Kate Hill

Some more feedback from our adventurers...

Aussie Camino walking through Stringybark Forest
Bec, Brisbane - 2023
We embarked on the Taste of the Aussie Camino with Natasha in September and it was fantastic! My husband and I (both teachers in Secondary Catholic schools), did this to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.

I have completed a few walks with Natasha from Walk the Limestone Coast. Tash was very well organised and knowledgeable, she was respectful of the land we were crossing and passionate about the environment. This was an amazing few days, I loved the whole experience! Looking forward to more hikes, thank you.

If you are thinking of going on one of these walks, just do it! Professional, courteous and caring. I have done two multi day walks with Natasha. I wouldn’t hesitate to go on another trip and urge you to just book a tour if you’re already reading this! Great walks, great company and great service. Thanks for your help and guidance Tash.
