I have explored this wonderful, diverse region for the past two decades as an environmental educator and bushwalker.
The best way to experience and connect with a landscape is to walk it, tread lightly, explore culture and history, support communities and share with others.
Walk the Limestone Coast (WTLC) is committed to treading lightly, supporting the regeneration of the region and local communities.
We do this by giving back, promoting local businesses, minimising waste and ecological offsetting.
When you join a multi-day tour we will offset your ecological footprint for the week by supporting Port MacDonnell Landcare Group to re-establish habitat.
A percentage of WTLC profits goes to local charities supporting the health and wellbeing of regional children.
I have completed a few walks with Natasha from Walk the Limestone Coast. Tash was very well organised and knowledgeable, she was respectful of the land we were crossing and passionate about the environment. This was an amazing few days, I loved the whole experience! Looking forward to more hikes, thank you.
A highlight was learning about the history of Mary MacKillop, and also being immersed in the landscape and history of the South East.
If you are thinking of going on one of these walks, just do it! Professional, courteous and caring. I have done two multi day walks with Natasha. I wouldn’t hesitate to go on another trip and urge you to just book a tour if you’re already reading this! Great walks, great company and great service. Thanks for your help and guidance Tash.
